I... am going a bit crazy, to say the least. Classes end the 10th (!), finals the week after, and that's it! God, I beg, pray and hope I can push a godforsaken 3.0 finally, or it may be FAU or Nova for me. How the hell will I live with myself?! I thing that the thing I worry about more than disappointing my parents is disappointing my aunt (who's not my aunt). She worked to get me into her alma mater, to get me the scholarship I got, and she's helped me along the way financially; not to mention she's let me stay over her house for breaks like Thanksgiving. I've got an about guaranteed A in at least one class, a probably B in another, but the class that's really bothering me is this godforsaken Research in Learning class. It will be the end of me raaaah!
And if that's not enough, the old iPod my aunt gave me (during Thanksgiving break, along with an external harddrive she wasn't using anymore) has disappeared. Yes, I'll put money on the fact that it was stolen. And I'll also put money on the fact that it was stolen by Se.
I'm not sure if I explained the current relationship Se and I have... When she still lived (squatted) here, she tried to steal my headphones. One day they were on the windowsill in the living room, the next they were not. I went around asking everyone if they had seen them (including Se) and everyone didn't know. So I bid my time. One night all the other roomies went out, and I started looking (though everyone's stuff--yes, I know, I'm just as bad) for my headphones. And where were they in the end? In Se's freaking purse!!!!! I took them, of course, but said nothing. At that point everyone was on cool terms with her and I didn't need the additional drama. (That plus I got my headphones back and, admittedly, she kinda scares me--she's like twice my weight, I wouldn't win a fight against her.)
So things went on and whatever and over time we discovered that Se (and D, on a lesser degree) is a serious mooch. She helped herself to A's stuff without asking, burned through her expensive makeup/perfume without a second thought, opened up and used my coffee milk (I had a serious problem with that, lol), and was a general nightmare. At this point A and I were not too keen of her (well I borderline abhorred her at this point), but D was (and still is) friends with her. Well, A finally snapped and kicked her out of her room (it was pretty passive aggressive though; she just packed up Se's stuff and put it all in the living room).
I was pretty happy Se was leaving, but I had another thing coming. D started offering her her own bed, since she often sleeps elsewhere (don't ask me where, I have no idea). I said nothing and had a "well let's see where this goes first" kind of attitude. Well it wasn't long before I kicked her out myself. One night she brought her friend over (another S, the third person with that name) and they decided that it would be a sleepover. Which would have been fine if they hadn't chatted all the way to the bed and then chatted some more in the bed! It was four in the morning when they woke me up and I had a nine o' clock class. Of course they fell asleep with no problem, but I was so infuriated that they woke me up that I ended sleeping on the couch with the TV, finally falling asleep at around six. That was my final straw. I told her she couldn't sleep in my/D's room, and since couch sleeping's below her, I essentially kicked her out of the suite.
I thought I'd never have to see her (or at least minimally), but D is still friends with her. She and Se and another of their friends chill in the room, all noisy and whatnot, and recently I've realized that they've been smoking in the room! The room reeks for like 3 hours after, and it smells awful. But anyway, to this iPod. I had it Sunday, in my coat pocket, and when I got back to the room I dumped everything that was in my pockets onto the desk, including iPod. Then yesterday when I got back to class, guess who was in the room: D, Se, and another friend. Now, I don't remember seeing the iPod then, and when I wanted it later that night it was gone. Granted anyone else could have stolen it, but due to Se's track record (and, admittedly, my intense hatred for her) I'd like to say she stole it.
RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok that's it. I apologize for the TL;DR, but I needed to get it out. I'll forgive anyone who doesn't bother reading it :)

I am so sorry, hon! You should definitely confront Se about it. Tell her you know she had stolen your headphones and then demand she give you back the iPod.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is she's quite the intimidating person...
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should have a guy come with you? lol
