Running Around Town

As always, I apologize for the lack of posts, but the first two (has it really only been two weeks?) weeks have been pretty crazy and I've been a bit lax on the whole blogging thing. So, yesterday I did some fun stuffs. I needed to get a book for my Research in Learning class (which is very probably not the right one -.-) so me and S went to the Small (Southside Mall, known for its size) to the Borders Express they have there.

It was there that I found this:

A Gossip Girl manga! Madness! And yet, I was tempted (it ended up being $12 so I ended up not getting it). I remember reading the series before the TV show and all that crap, it was one of those guilty pleasures. And now a manga? Why must I be tempted? And the art was pretty nice, to top it all off.


We then walked over to fye and I had to get these headphones:

So... sexy... Originally for $50, they were marked down to $20! ROXY headphones! That were pink and orange! They came with a snazzy bag too; I love them so much!

Then we went to Wal-mart, where I found this insanity:

What is this?! A freaking Barbie video camera for, like, 6-year-olds. This is nuts! I got my first digital camera at, like, 15. No child this young needs a camera. Seriously. It reminds me (though it's less extreme) of my aunt's grandneice. She's barely 7 and she has a freaking iPad! What does a 7-year-old need an iPad for?! Rah, it frustrates me.

In any case, at Wal-mart I finally got myself a webcam, after having my friends ask that I get one since freshman year.

Say hello to Cammie, my cheapie $18 webcam. Yay for Wal-mart!

So that was my Monday... sooner or later I'll actually make that obligatory move-in post...
